2019年5月22日下午，悉尼科技大学（UNIVERSITY OF TECHNOLOGY SYDNEY， UTS）崔晓楠老师一行来到华侨学院，在C207会议室进行了宣讲。UTS日前已与我院签订了“2+2”双学位合作项目。此次宣讲旨在加深我院学生对UTS和该项目的认识与了解。

　　

　　崔老师首先介绍了UTS的各项基本情况，如其处于悉尼市中心的地理位置、便捷的城市交通、美丽的校园环境等。随后，崔老师介绍了UTS建立于1988年，目前在校生有45,930人，其中有12,384国际学生。随后，崔老师重点介绍了UTS的办学特色，主要有如下几个方面：

　　1.Excellent Teaching: Many of our teachers are experts in their field, enriching the learning experience with access to industry expertise and networks.TS非常重视教学质量，保证优质的师资力量。

　　2.Practice-orientated learning: Our courses include real-life case studies, group work, major projects, field trips as well as work placements and internship opportunities to help students place their knowledge in a real-world context.UTS为教育界著名的理论与实际紧密结合的学校，致力于让学生能够学以致用，并提供丰富多样的实习机会给在校生。

　　3.World-class facilities: UTS’s Engineering and IT Building features an advanced 3D Data Arena and state-of-the-art teaching and learning spaces which feature the latest technology. The Science and Graduate School of Health Building, includes a ‘super lab’, one of only two in Australia.UTS的校内设施是世界领先的，有各种多功能教室和配备优良的实验室等。

　　4.Industry connections: More than 150 companies partner with UTS, sharing their resources and expertise and valuable input into course development.UTS与超过150个企业有合作关系，与企业共享前沿的信息、资源，并应用到日常的课堂中。

　　5.Innovative and recognized courses: Many of our courses are accredited by a wide range of professional associations and governing bodies, giving our students the capacity to work internationally.学校还有许多创新、实践类课程，与大型企业和政府机构合作，保证学生能够拥有国际视野。
