张薇，副教授，现任首都经济贸易大学华侨学院基础课部主任、华侨华人研究中心研究人员。主要研究方向为应用语言学、跨文化比较及中华文化的国际传播，致力于探索中华文化的英语叙事策略及其国际传播效能。长期主讲大学英语、新质商业演讲力、雅思口语等课程，持有英语专业八级、CATTI三级翻译专业资格认证，兼具扎实的语言功底与前沿的国际视野。
主持多项教学改革课题，构建了“课程思政+文化输出”的大学英语教学系统化路径；作为核心负责人，历时五年完成“国际化视域下大学英语教学课程思政推进路径研究”课题，编写《核心英语基础版》、《核心英语高阶版》系列教材，其中《核心英语基础版》获评2023年北京市优质本科教材。教学成果方面，曾获外研社“教学之星”大赛全国复赛特等奖、半决赛一等奖，第16届“外教社杯”全国高校外语教学大赛北京赛区一等奖，北京市高校教师教学创新大赛二等奖，北京市青教赛三等奖，并获评首都经济贸易大学优秀教师、教学卓越奖、师德先锋等荣誉称号。她始终坚持以赛促学、以文化人，近年来指导学生在“外语讲好中国故事短视频大赛”、“全国大学生英语竞赛”、“用英语讲好中国故事演讲比赛”、“21世纪杯英语演讲比赛”等国家级、省级赛事中累计获奖逾50人次，用真实的教学成果诠释了外语教育从“语言工具”走向“文化使者”的育人转型。
Zhang Wei, Associate Professor, Director of Department of General Education and Research Fellow at the Center for Overseas Chinese Studies at Capital University of Economics and Business. Her research focuses on applied linguistics, cross-cultural comparison, and the international dissemination of Chinese culture, with a particular interest in narrative strategies for presenting Chinese stories in English and enhancing their global impact. She teaches College English, Business Presentation Skills, and IELTS Speaking, and holds TEM-8 and CATTI Level III certifications.
She integrates morals and values education with language teaching, leading reform projects that establish a systematic approach combining value-based cultivation with cultural outreach in college English instruction. As a core contributor, she completed a five-year research project on this topic and co-authored the Core English textbook series (Basic and Advanced Editions), with the Basic Edition named a Beijing Municipal High-Quality Textbook in 2023. Her teaching excellence has earned her numerous prestigious awards, including the FLTRP “Star of Teaching” Grand Prize and First Prize, the SFLEP Cup First Prize (Beijing), the Beijing Teaching Innovation Competition Second Prize, and the Beijing Young Teachers’ Competition Third Prize, along with university honors for outstanding teaching and ethics. Guided by the philosophy of “learning through competition and nurturing through culture”, she has mentored over 50 students to win provincial and national awards in events like the “Tell China's Story” contest and the “21st Century Cup”, embodying her vision of transforming language education from skill acquisition to cultivating culturally aware global communicators.
